March 16, 2017
“Structured finance” provides solutions to financing
properties that don’t qualify for traditional stabilized bank or insurance
company loans. These are typically complicated loans. The following are
examples of loan types that can be categorized as structured finance:
- Mezzanine Debt
- Equity
- Financing that Involves a Construction Component
- High Leverage
- Bridge Loans
- Loans on Non-Stabilized Assets
- The Financing of Note Purchases
- Value Add Financing
Barry Slatt Mortgage has a long history of
placing structured finance loans. In addition to our correspondent lenders, we have
many long-term relationships with lenders in the structured finance space.
