Mr. Davidson has been responsible for the placement of over $2 billion in debt and equity real estate financing during his career. With his background in engineering, accounting and finance, Mr. Davidson has structured, analyzed and closed many complicated construction and permanent financings. These properties include apartments, industrial, retail, office, and hospitality and are located nationwide.
Before joining Slatt Capital, Mr. Davidson was the President and founder of his commercial real estate finance company, REDCO Finance. He previously worked with the mortgage brokerage firms of Sonnenblick Goldman Corporation and Investment Mortgage International. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker as well as a certified public accountant. Mr. Davidson began his career in accounting ASA/CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.
Mr. Davidson currently belongs to the Urban Land Institute (ULI), Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Bay Area Mortgage Association (BAMA), where he is a Past President. He has served as an organizer and moderator on numerous real estate panels.
Mr. Davidson was educated at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois where he earned both an MBA “with Distinction” from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar by Kellogg and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. He is a member of Theta Xi Fraternity.
