Welcome: Bryan Shaffer and Ruben Bohbot Join Slatt Capital

Slatt Capital is pleased to announce that veteran capital markets professionals Bryan Shaffer and Ruben Bohbot have joined the firm’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Shaffer will join as a Principal and assume the role of Managing Director, acting as the player-coach leader of the office. Mr. Bohbot joins the firm as Vice President, focusing on originations and expanding the firm’s lender relations.

The Shaffer/Bohbot team has a strong track record of execution and success with both traditional debt placement as well as specialized structured finance. Mr. Shaffer has 35 years of capital markets and CRE finance experience with an extensive history of arranging debt and structured financing for commercial and multifamily properties nationwide. Previously, Mr. Shaffer served as Managing Director & Principal with George Smith Partners. In his career, Mr. Shaffer has sourced over $8.5 billion in real estate transactions, including structuring or arranging over $6 billion of debt and equity placements and repositioning and selling over $2 billion of properties.

Mr. Bohbot brings over a decade of CRE experience with over 3 years working in acquisitions and dispositions of under-performing CRE notes and, most recently, as Director at George Smith Partners, teamed with Bryan Shaffer. Ruben has placed debt and equity for over 6 million square feet of commercial and multifamily real estate valued at over $3.5 billion.
